  3. Hmmm.. a few other bands who were called the German Beatles:

    1) The Rattles
    2) Faust (although they're definitely Germany's anti-Beatles)
    3) Kraftwerk

    From what I hear on youtube they recorded some fairly good late 60's psych-pop singles. But if they are still "Germany's Beatles" after all these decades they must have employed some very good wig makers :)
